Parent Information

We know how anxious and stressful it is to send your child away from home but we are here to help.

How to find the right accommodation?

If your child is taking up a course at Christ University then you should book their accommodation sooner rather than later. There are several PGs in the SG Palya area ranging from cheapest to the most expensive ones. When choosing a place for your child, you need to keep it within budget but at the same ensure that your child has a comfortable stay as this will directly impact how they perform in their studies. Cheapest options are usually not the best lacking basic hygiene and services and the expensive ones will tear your wallet with promises of Luxurious lifestyle. We stand somewhere in the middle charging you a reasonable price and providing your child the best environment for them to pursue their studies. All of our properties are well maintained and services are managed according to laid out procedures keeping the well being of the student in mind.

Student Accommodation viewing

The hostel reception is manned from early morning 7am to late night 9:30pm. During this time you can just drop in for viewing. You don’t need an appointment for this. Our staff will be more than happy to give you a site tour and answer any question you may have. If you are visiting Christ University as part of the admission process, it might be worth staying overnight so you could explore all the options before deciding. There are several hotels in the vicinity but we have tied up with Hotel Paramos Inn and can get you a good price. They also have an inhouse restaurant Hot Griddle which serves delicious food.

Move in day can be a roller coaster of emotions for both parents and students as this may be first time they are going to live on their own. It is also an exciting time as the students look forward to starting a new chapter in their lives. We have a team of helpers and co-ordinators who will make your moving in day as smooth as possible. The key to minimize surprises is planning ahead. Take some time to read on what is expected on your first day at Christ university, ask advice from recent students of what they actually needed at the university on their first day and plan ahead of the move-in day. This way you and your child will feel confident for the exciting university journey ahead.
